Gender mainstreamingPROLEARN promoted gender mainstreaming by implementing obligatory activities within every working group. With regard to the integration of GM into the general PROLEARN policy, a strong commitment to the needs and ideas of gender equality is promoted in this project.
PROLEARN has organized several events, specifically targeting the issue of gender mainstreamining (ie. Gender Mainstreaming breakfast during all Summer Schools organized by WP 9) raising the issue of low female workers in the ICT area. The Gender mainstreaming board made sure to use gender-neutral language and the representation of women in PROLEARN's Executive Board (Katherine Maillet). |
