PROLEARN @ eLearning Conference
- Towards a Learning Society -
Bruxelles, Belgium, May 19 and 20, 2005

19. 05. 2005

PROLEARN will be well represented at the EU eLearning Conference in Bruxelles, Belgium on May 19 and 20, 2005.

The conference general theme is the display of state of the art in eLearning as well as the identification of requirements for the European Union to become the world’s most competitive and dynamic knowledge-based economy by 2010. The conference will bring together a cross section of the various stakeholders involved in eLearning in Europe, and will provide the perfect forum for sharing experiences, exchanging good practices and taking stock of the added value of using ICT in education and training.

While the European Union enjoys one of the highest levels of education and has the necessary investment capacity, there is much progress yet to be made in the use of new information and communication technologies. The conference will reflect on the need to reform education and training systems for the knowledge society, promoting digital literacy, e-skills, the upskilling of the workforce and lifelong learning for all.

Many PROLEARN partners will give presentations thus considerably improving the visibility of PROLEARN within the European Union. Additionally, PROLEARN will have a stand at the adjoining exhibition, thus being able to display most recent research results and achievments.
