1. Aim and Scope

Recent advances in Web technologies have rapidly changed our life in various ways. Especially the Web has had many positive effects on education. It overcomes time and space limitations in traditional schools. Teachers and students are now using the Web to access vast amount of information and resources in the cyberspace. The Web also provides educators to implement a range of new teaching and learning practices, which redefine classroom-learning experiences. The aim of this session is to invite researchers from various fields to present and discuss their ideas on Web-based learning.

Areas of interest are expected (but not limited) to be:

-User interface Design
-Learning & Content Management System
-Quality Management in Web-based Learning
-Infrastructure of Web-based Learning Environment
-Curriculum Design in Web-based Learning
-Teaching, Learning and Assessment Strategy in Web-based Learning
-Infrastructure of Web-based Learning Environment
-Instructional Design Methods for Web-based Learning
-Collaborative Web-based Learning
-Virtual University

3. Submission Information

 Authors are invited to submit papers (PDF format) of up to 12 pages electronically: Note that hard copy submission is not allowed.

Submitted papers will be evaluated on significance, originality, technical quality, and relevance. Accepted papers will appear in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science series (LNCS), Springer-Verlag. The submitted papers must be camera-ready and formatted according to the rules of LNCS (see http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html).
