PROLEARN Thematic Workshop "Interactive Media" at Madrid, Spain, on November 15-17, 2005

The PROLEARN Thematic Workshop on interactive media will be adjoining the PROLEARN General Assembly in Madrid, Spain on November 15-17, 2005. Organized by Juan Quemada, UPM, and Peter Scott, OU, this TWS will bring together numerous researchers from different research areas to foster the exchange of ideas, presentation of results and discussion on future trends in the area of interactive media.
This workshop specifically invites Researchers and Practitioners who want to make collaboration really work. Key specialists in collaborative working environments will discuss the current state and future directions of collaborative systems from the perspective of learning at work. Proposals for panel discussion topics and panel members are still wellcome. Please send your proposals to Peter Scott ([email protected]) and Juan Quemada ([email protected]).
Two panels are already planned focusing on 'Interactive Media and Professional Learning' and 'Real time collaboration and broadcasting in Professional Learning'.
Although the central location is in Madrid, the workshop will be distributed also via the Isabel tool. The PROLEARN partners are encouraged to set up remote sites to enlarge workshop participation at there institution.

The social programme will include a dinner at a very nice ans very Spanish place as an surprise, its location publishes only hours in advance of the event.
